Politics is a game.

Politics is a game.

...sir, for just $5 a bet, you could win $100

...k, accepted, what have I to do? (K means okayed).

...look and look careful sir. There are just two upsides down cans on the table. One of them has a blue marble, the other a red one. If you point onto any of them and predict which marble’s color is in it after first betting 5 miserable dollars, you get $100 accredited to you. Must make 10 trials and will get paid one grand!

...that is a lot of money you will get for 5 miserable dollars. Wanne try?

...just five dollars?

...just 5 dollars.

K, here my first $5.

...good, now make the choice.

...the one on the left.

...and the colour?

...mmm, let me think, well, red.

...let us see sir. It is Blue!

C'mon, I lost.

...now pick up another one, but pay

$5 first.

...but I just paid $5!

...correct, on the first trial. Next is 5 more.

The police! The police's here!

Every players were arrested ...once in front of a judge, in an "algaratera" (myriad of entangled words and  discussions), the judge stop them all and dictated: I will set free all of you but you all have to make 3 days of community service of your choice, a total of 15 hours.  And for you “smart game director, will go 3 months in jail.  Cuz your game was really a trump, no one could make $1000 dollars.  Every one had to spend $50 dollars and wins strait all of the predictions on the colour under the cans, and the cans, all were full of the same colour, if blue, all the colour in the first pair of cans were red or either blue …the player did not have in the law of probabilities a chance to say the correct colours cuz they were subjected to a 50/50 probability of saying the same colour correct… so now, by paying for 5 games, 5 dollars each, the player, if guessing those five games’ marble colours, would spend $25 dollars and just had accumulated the value of $500 dollars, in next 5 games, the player would have spend $25 dollars more, a total of $50 dollars paid to play the 10 games and you would not pay a penny cuz the arrangement was to win all the 10 games to collect $1000 …as such, players were just losers and you the sole winner.
