 Russia, USA, China, France, UK and many others know clear enough that a nuclear war would be the economic end of all modern and poor nations. The world, just for the ones that could possibly survive will enter into the Dark Ages of the past. Powerful nations would be no powerful any longer.  Russia will be suffering of so many dead people the same as USA, China, France.

...there is the possibility that poor nations far away from the nuclear explosions might still exist but would start evolution-backward cuz tech would become non-existence.  Some countries would empty themselves into their neighboring countries looting for food.  Many small wars will erupt.  "The World in Chaos" before the beginning of a new historical chapter.  Humans will return down to history around the 13th.  Century.  That might be the product of any nation using nuclear bombs against any other nation.  Well, in that case if a Russian high elite member kills Putin, that could be prevented.  Guarantee Putin would not make use of nuclear bombs.  He has not lost his mind yet.  Just in case: killing him now would be the best guarantee after all.  A new epoch would be born, and Russia would flourish as a superpower cuz this Russians are intelligent people.  It is their mal-made descendants of historical emperors and dictators in Russia.  Real intellectuals are not in control of this nation but a lot of incredibly low moral thieves in power of the government use by Vladimir Putin in order for him to control the Russian society on his behalf.
