...totally disagree with you; the presence of abundance carbon in the atmosphere help in the grow of plants. The sea absorbs most of carbon. Carbon abundance help in creating deferent ambient on the surface of the plannet. Sea water evaporate and mix with other gases to create our known atmosphere that is breathable to all living creatures. When it rains, most of the carbon falls onto the surface of the plannet and help to feed plants on the ground, on its surface. Thanks to volcanoes the said here happens ...and tried to mention: volcanoes themselves, what is their relationship with carbon abundance on earth? Sea water is invading habitable land due to solar system natural configuration and that is why in the history of this plannet there had been so many changes during its billions of years. Should be known that people die cuz of pollution, but it is not that the sea is invading land cuz of pollution. The poles melt and get frozen as a mean of its existence for millions of years, it melts and get frozen then melt again, it takes years and years. Did mammoth disappear cuz of human pollution? Think of that.

...distinguished sir: did the Sahara Desert was green once? ...if so, why it lost all its "greenish" and turned into a desert? Was its human pollution cuz of carbon dioxide? Think and think twice if not trice. Many parts of the plannet were full of vegetation, now they are deserted and other parts of land were iced as the land that is the Bering Sea that join Asia and America, it was all iced and people could cross by just walking on it. it is not all iced (frozen), is that cuz human pollutant? ...my questions are not simple questions, they are made that if you are right, then my questions cannot be scientifically answer cuz then science is wrong. Got it? Either you are wrong or is science that's wrong: earth geology.
