understand: Quantity is how many units there is in a group, let's say, forty
coins; and quality is the value of each coin. So, see it now: forty pennies are
quantity, but ten bills are quality if each bill has a value of one hundred
pennies, in number, forty pennies are greater in unit: forty pennies still need
sixty more pennies to have the value of one bill. Ten bills, therefore, has the
value of ten thousand pennies. See here that even the amount of 40 (in pennies)
is less than the amount of one (in money bills). Here, unit of ones, forty
times, is less than one unit of ten in one bill.
...that is why if to a child,
let's say, 2 years old, you present to him/her forty cents in a group of coins
and one dollar bill, alone in the opposite side, the child would prefer to take
the coins than the dollar. If you want to trick the child, present, then ten
bills of one each, in dollars, and ten bills of one each of a Mexican peso,
both are in the unit of one, the child will not know which one to take. Going
further, present three bills of one each: one Mexican peso, one Chinese yen and
one dollar. Each are one but they carry different values. Until the child
learns the value of each.
The same is in the military:
North Korea has an army of five million soldiers (boots), America an army,
let's say for our comparison, of two million soldiers, better! North Korea has
more in units but less in value if you know the war equipment and tech that
both carries in their armies-arsenal. Americans has less of units but more in
values. In case of a confrontational war, the North Koreans will be defeated.
That is why the North has a fanatism in developing qualities in their nuclear
arsenal than unit per nuclear bombs: displace of larger distances and better
targeting for their missiles and greater abilities on explosion. Russia
achieved both, quantitively and qualitatively. And now, USA is getting better qualitatively
but less quantitively (warplanes with powerful Laser beans). Here, one is more
than ten in value, not in unit. The one wins. Most people worldwide, are like
the child above in this comparison.
