...in simple words, the result of this votes is the expression of the people that marched against Brexit some short time ago cuz they changed their minds to not leaving the European Union.  That changed of mind had been reflected in this local election and people were put in places to deliver that change of mind: the majority of Britons do not want to leave, instead, they want to stay....but yet this result in votes showing that, Teresa May "mal-interpret" it and think her feelings had been expressed in the votes ...she poisons herself with her wrong feelings: "mal-interpreting" Democracy to be what she feels it is, not Democracy, the power of the people.  A universal axion.

...Mrs. Emily Thornbury, wake up, don't change the message the people gave to the gov, tell it as is as of now, the majority do not want to leave. Change the story and admit defeat. It is hard to swallow but swallow it or get more defeats on any future elections. There will be many during the 21st. Century (elections). The problem, whichever problem there could be in England is not related to the powerful growing of EU, Britons problems, and just to mention one: immigration, is not a problem but some doze of discrimination against the world changing its status quo. See Russia, if Russia does not change its status quo it will disappears as a nation state, it has the greatest land percentage of all nation state and its population is continuously decreasing, more people are dying than born, it needs to change its immigration laws to take people of all "razes" around the world just to create a gene pool to protect its human "Russian species" (if a joke is permitted here). Russia and many nuclear sites cities are affected in their DNA which is decreasing its human fecundation though this problem is dated from 1945. Notice that? Britons needs change and that is a scientific change on bio, not politics. EU is a bunch of Nation States that is developing a powerful system superior to that of any nation around the world. UK has problems, do not attribute them to the EU, together those problems will be solved.
