...Elon Musk, putting his personal business interest first, as more of a value than the federal government interest. This means that whatever decision the Pentagon takes, if it goes contrary to Elon business, and he can block it, Elon will do that, in other words, his business first and the American war power decision after or rather, eliminated. A man who does not care for the interest of USA but his own, business
This is what happens when you privatize government functions. Remember these consequences when republicans say they support privatizing social security.
He's not American, he's South African. That country works directly with Russia on a daily basis. He's far more inclined to help Russia than the US. As his actions show.
Musk is like any rich, corporate business man... his only interests are his own. Whatever furthers his power, wealth, and the success of his company is best for him. Freedom and democracy are not a concern for him... or any corporation for that matter... it is money and power. Everything else is secondary to those two things, even the rights of free people and the peace of nations.
